Batana Oil, 240 ml – Pure, Fragrance-Free Hair, Lash & Skin Oil

A 240 ml bottle of pure batana oil — the rich nut oil traditionally used in Central America as a hair, lash and skin conditioner. This one is cold-pressed and unrefined, so it keeps the deep amber colour and the soft nutty character of the raw oil rather than being stripped back into a clear, neutral base.
It is fragrance-free. Nothing has been added to make it smell like anything, which makes it easy to layer under whatever else you already use and easy to live with if perfume in hair products bothers you.
- Net content: 240 ml / 8.12 fl oz
- Hero ingredient: pure batana oil, cold-pressed and unrefined
- Best for: dry or coarse hair, conditioning lashes and brows, and dry patches of skin
- Use as: a pre-wash scalp and lengths treatment, an overnight conditioning oil, a light finishing oil on damp ends, or a body oil
- Texture: lightweight and fast-absorbing
- Suits: all hair and skin types; vegetarian
The 240 ml bottle is the practical reason to pick this one. Batana is an oil people tend to use generously — a full scalp massage and a pass through long hair goes through a small bottle quickly — and this is roughly double the standard size, so it lasts through a proper routine instead of being rationed.
How to use — hair: warm a small amount between the palms, section the hair and massage into the scalp for two to four minutes, then work outward through the lengths to the tips. Leave 20–30 minutes, or overnight under a cap for a deeper treatment, then wash out with a gentle shampoo. The manufacturer's directions suggest applying once or twice daily; adjust the frequency to suit your hair and routine. For a leave-in finish, smooth two or three drops through damp mid-lengths and ends only.
How to use — lashes, brows and skin: apply a trace amount to clean brows or lashes with a clean spoolie before bed. On skin, warm a few drops and press into dry areas after cleansing.
Good to know: unrefined batana oil is naturally dark and thick, and its colour and scent vary slightly from batch to batch — that is normal for a cold-pressed oil. Patch test before first use.
This is a cosmetic product and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition.
